This Privacy Policy explains how Appify Commerce (“Catlogify,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you install and use the Catlogify application (the “App”) on your Shopify store, and when you visit catlogify.com (the “Site”).
1. Who we are
Catlogify is a Shopify application that generates product catalogs and line sheets from data in your Shopify store. The data controller responsible for your information is Appify Commerce, [COMPANY ADDRESS]. If you have any questions, contact us at support@appifycommerce.com.
2. Information we collect
When you install and use the App, we access and process the following, only as needed to provide the service:
- Store & account information — your store name, myshopify.com domain, store owner name, email address, and Shopify plan.
- Product data — products, variants, images, descriptions, prices, SKUs, collections, and inventory used to build your catalogs.
- App usage data — catalogs and layouts you create, settings you configure, and basic logs (such as timestamps and error information) used to operate and improve the App.
We do not access customer personal data or order information unless it is required for a feature you enable, and we will disclose it here if that changes.
3. How we use information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the App and generate your catalogs and line sheets.
- To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- To monitor, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the App.
- To comply with legal obligations and Shopify’s platform requirements.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:
- Shopify, as the platform the App runs on.
- Service providers who host and support the App on our behalf (for example, our cloud and infrastructure providers), under agreements that require them to protect your data. These include [LIST KEY SUBPROCESSORS, e.g. Cloudflare, and any database/storage provider].
- Legal or safety reasons, where required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
5. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as the App is installed and as needed to provide the service. When you uninstall the App, we delete or anonymize your store’s data within [RETENTION PERIOD, e.g. 30–90 days], except where we are required to retain it by law. Shopify’s mandatory data-deletion webhooks are honored.
6. Data security
We use industry-standard measures to protect information in transit and at rest, including encryption (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to promptly address any issues.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to processing or request portability. To exercise these rights, email support@appifycommerce.com. If you are in the EEA/UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA; we do not sell personal information.
8. International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place for such transfers.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Effective date” above. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
